You’ve Got Questions, We’re Here to Help

We understand that starting care can feel overwhelming. Here are answers to common questions to help you feel more prepared

How long does the initial assessment take?

The initial comprehensive assessment typically takes 60 minutes, with further assessments as needed on an individualized basis. In some cases, multiple sessions may be necessary, and this is determined on a case by case basis. This personalized approach allows us to thoroughly understand your history, current symptoms, and treatment goals.

We accept most major commercial insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, BlueCross, Anthem, Optum, United Healthcare, and Harvard Pilgrim, among others. We’re committed to affordable and accessible care, so we’ll verify your insurance plan prior to the appointment. Currently, we are unable to accept Medicaid or Medicare plans.

Follow up frequency is determined between each patient and their clinician based on a variety of factors, including patient preference, and whether medications are prescribed or therapy is performed.

We treat a broad range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression and mood disorders, OCD, ADHD, binge eating, and alcohol use. We specialize in working across the lifespan, treating adults as well as children and teens.

Insurance coverage for genetic testing depends on a variety of factors, including insurance plan, diagnosis, and prior medication trials. Genetic testing is optional, and we’ll work to determine insurance coverage on an individual patient basis.
